HHT 3/2 Cav at first, then TRF'd to I Trp.
Where were you stationed?
Amburg

19D, but worked in the S1 shop as Admin
What was your rank/title?
PV1 when I got there, PFC when I left
What years were you assigned to the 2nd Cavalry?
1982-84
Tell us a little about your cav days.
Loved it, Gesh! If I only knew!!!! Back then (82), "typing" was a very rare skill, so they put me to work in the 1 shop. Under SFC Hernandez, and some dickwad, (I think) named SSG Smith. After awhile I screwed up enuff that they sent me to a line troop, Got to I, and again my typing skills had me in the I Troop Motor Pool. Only ended up doing 1 Border tour. Good times!
