Tell us a little about your cav days.
I arrived in Amberg, Germany just in time to participate in the red-alert to rollout for Tehran, Iran. Fortunately, we were called back from the train station with all of our tanks and PCs already loaded on the flatbed cars.
In my second year I was transferred to HQ to play trumpet in Col. Wagner's (unauthorized) military band called the 2nd ACR Dragoons. Amazing experience traveling around Bavaria and the Black Forest playing music in parades, town events, Faschings' festivals, (even mock battles at Grafenwehr) for the purpose of creating goodwill between the U.S. and West Germans
Tell us a little about you now.
After being honorably discharged from, I returned home to Minnesota and attended university where I received a B.S. degree in finance. Eventually I migrated to the corporate meeting and incentive travel industry where I led teams to operate high-end programs around the world for 30 years.
Name a few buddies you served with that you would like to find.
Anyone from L Troop in Amberg during my time there, as well as anyone from the 2D ACR Dragoon band during my time.
