J.C. Where you the guy that shot or fired at Lt. Davison one time that he tried to sneak into one of the bunkers at Waiden/Pitman without calling first or using a password.? He said that you guys were always sleeping. ( around 1964/1965)

Jordan, My name is Jose Perez(Joe Perez) from the radio repair section. My track was I-40. Cooper and Walker were in my section in '64-'67. Cota , Taylor, Slepski, Bill Brown were there at the same time. I retired from Lockheed at the Johnson Space Center in '02 as an Electronic Project Engineer. I joined GHG Corp in '05 til present. Hello Jordan, welcome aboard. I see you and Bill have signed in. We are getting a few into the group from when we served together in Amber. I had written to Bill before in Atlanta. I am paralyzed now don't get around much anymore.

Toujours Pret Charles,
Welcome to the new DragoonBase, the site has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site(ie,photos,ect) in the Forum.
If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or myself, or just yell out another member may be able to help.
And his only wish that ‘We keep it clean’, use our real names/with pictures, and you tell all your friends about the new DragoonBase.

Tell us a little about your cav days.

I liked the time spent on the border (Durning the Summers). Camp Pittman better that Camp Gates. Had some great times on OP and border patrol. That was my first duty assignment and the best bunch of guys that I've met durning my 23 years in the Army.

I retired from the military as an E-8 in 1986. Worked as a computer programmer for 20 years. Now retired and loving it.
