Hello Jose, been awhile since I had heard from you, hope you are doing ok.  Are you still working down at NASA?  Yes  got the misses home yesterday, but she is still weak , but doing ok.  I went with a group from the squadron down to Bad Tolz, I guess it was just before you got there in Amberg, don't remember the date, I still have photo's from the trip.  The old memory slowly going. Old age catching up on me just turned 84.  You keep in touch.

Hello Jose, Hope this fines everthing going your way.  It has been a long time since we were together over there.  I need for your help to try and reconize a couple of people.  On my profile there in my photo group, Training at Bad Tolz with 10 Special Forces, there is a photo of a platoon formation in front of a Helicopter.  On the very far right there is a Buck Sgt with his rifle on his should do you remember him, he was in one of the rifle squads.  Also on the very far left there is 3 officers, the very far is an officer wearing glasses and wearing a soft cap, do you reconize either one in the photo, or any of the others.  Do recall the time period that we went down.

As an Iron Trooper 3/2 ACR '69 - ' 72  I can say that Iron Troop, and WolfPack were the Best of Assignments; Iron Troop was in the field the most of all the troops - and - of course WolfPack was closests to Nurenberg / Fuerth where I was born. I am not aware of any other German-born Troopers during my stay, but I didn't have any reason to advertise the fact myself. I wasjust B-Durned to notice an M-113 wutg my old numbers on it; I-40; different track tho; mine was New when it was donated to me; and these pics are way earlier - good pics of the goat, too!

      Toujours Pret to All!

Jose, I remember you! Amazing, didn't think I'd remember anyone. Yeah, that clock had a lot of black boot marks around it.

When I arived at Amberg, the Army had lost my paperwork. I was supposed to go to Vietnam with a stop at Germany. I troop was depleted of commo men, so I stayed there. the HHQ sargent told me since I was Mexican, that I was supposed to be a driver, which I declied. After the Army, I went to school, Texas A&I and finished my engineering career. I graduated as an Electronic Engineer in December '71 .
