  Hey Chris whats going on. Glad to see you joined. I am trying to get in touch with Tucker and Soup ( Ben Campbell) also Pip. I got a phone call from Mike Young I have to retunrn the call and also call you. At some point we three should get together.

  Chris,The two big apartment stores that were downtown are gone,I don't know if you remember Storg,and Kaufhaf.What really stocked my wife and I were so many Muslims living in the town.We looked at the two places that we lived in in 69-71.One downtown on the main street and the other in Gialoh.Which was down the street on the right side of the main gate,now there is a traffic circle out near where the front gate was.The city is still nice but misses the troopers.The troops from Vilseck come for the day by bus to take it easy,we talked to some of them in 2002.Afew were already home sick and they just got there.It must of been a shock when years later they had to go to WAR.I have a nice article on my page about the closing of Pond Barracks.Maybe thas year we will be going back.
