What unit(s) did you serve in with the 2d Cavalry?
HHC 3/2 ACR
Where were you stationed?
Pond Barracks, Amberg Germany, APO 09452 (wow! I can't believe I still remember that APO#!!)
What MOS or job description did you have?
My MOS was 72F20, Data Communications Terminal Specialist but when I was stationed in Amberg I worked in Personnel, the Motor Pool, and in S4
What was your rank/title?
SP4
What years were you assigned to the 2nd Cavalry?
1973-1975
Tell us a little about your cav days.
I was the first female stationed there, not sure if there were ever any other women there but I was the one and only while I was there. I remember the 1st time thru those gates at 0500 on a cold October day in 1973, the gate guard about fell out of the hut...LOL I was married to Jim Robbins at the time, he worked in Support Plt. I remember CPT Deely (the jerk) took me off the promotion list because I got sick and was sent home...when I told my 1st Sgt I wanted to go to JAG because of it, I was promoted within days...this was of course before the days of sexual harassment...
Tell us a little about you now.
I am the mother of one beautiful daughter, Heather and grandma to 2 wonderful kids, Callee and Caden and now live in Cape Coral, Florida.
Name a few buddies you served with that you would like to find.
Buck Jeffcoat, Christian, LT Cooper and LT Kooper... I can still remember what people looked like, but my mind has grown fuzzy as far as names go...I do know that SFC O'claire retired to Fort Bragg NC and went on to be a truck driver (whoda thunk it???LOL)

Wow Christine, you are a major surprise. Didn't know there were any women/was a woman in the regiment during my time. May need to get a story from you later for the Thoroughbred newsletter, the official newsletter of the 2d Cavalry Association.
