I was in 1-1 Cav, 1st Armored Division, and was placed under operational control of 2nd ACR for multiple border missions.
Where were you stationed?
Camps May, Reed, Pitman, Gates, and Harris.
What MOS or job description did you have?
19D
What was your rank/title?
Sp/4 -SSG
What years were you assigned to the 2nd Cavalry?
1982-1985 / 1987-1990

The years I spent in the cav were the best years of my life. Would do it all again.

Currently I work as a DoD civilian in Vilseck, Germany.

So Chuck, did you make it to the Vilseck Fest last July? (I'm in the Stetson) I heard they cancelled it this year 'cause the gubmit didn't want use guys usin' their airstrip to party on no more.
