Tell us a little about your cav days.

Really enjoyed my time with the 2ACR. Several really great friends. I grew to think of Nuremburg as a 2d home, and have gone back to visit several times.

Tell us a little about you now.

Married to my high school sweetheart, Kathryn. We have three daughters and 10 Grandchildren. Retired from the Army after 24 yrs. Now work as the Controller for an engineering firm in Birmingham, Alabama. For 12 years following retirement on Weekends and evenings I was an aviation safety officer/instructor pilot and ultimately the chief instructor pilot for the USAF Flight Training Center, Maxwell AFB Al. (Until they closed the Center). Weekends (and any time I can get out of the office). Since 2005 I have been a part time aviation safety officer and a Flight Instructor with the Army Flying Activity Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. Kathryn and I still enjoy camping & sailing. We also raise, train and show Shetland Sheepdogs and Australian Shepherds in Conformation, Obedience, Agility, and Herding.
