Tell us a little about your cav days.
The work on that piece of tin called the SheridanTank. The tedious task of loading the flat cars for the trek to Hof. A waitress named Anna, who worked at a local diner that served soul food. When my family learned that I had been assigned to Germany, 4 of my brothers said to be sure to go to Bamberg and say hello to Anna for them. Llittle did I know that I would be assigned to the 2/2 ACR in Bamberg! The clubs. The scenic walks along the river. the visit to Nuremberg-via the scenic train ride. getting to meet and make friends with numerous american students at Erlanger University. And last but not least, german beer.

After my military career ended, finished college, got married, and now plays the chief spoiler to 9 grandchildren
