  CSM (1SG) Cablay,

  I was a replacement in C Trp, arriving 3 weeks before we left for Saudi. You put me in SFC Donaldson's platoon. My wife at the time was German and she was 7 months pregnant with our son. Your wife Gabby worked in the Housing Office and did alot to help us find an apartment before I left. I was always grateful to her. You handed me the Red Cross message that told me my son was born. He will be 22 on 1 March and he is in the Air Force stationed in Minot, ND. I am still serving--currently a MSG. I'm in Afghanistan now until September 2013. Desert Storm and my time in Bindlach will always be special to me. Despite this tour I'm on now, I will always keep the 2nd ACR on my right sleeve. I hope all is well with you and your family. I just wanted you to know you are remembered and that you had an impact on my career. Thank you.

  Welcome to Dragoon Base, CSM Cablay. Thank you for your service to our Country and continued support of the 2d Dragoons. Good to see yet another Comanche here.

  Had the honor/pleasure of visiting the Regiment in Vilseck last July upon their return from Afghanistan. Paid a quick visit to "The Rock" and it was hard to fight back the tears.
