      Welcome Craig, Served in Bamberg, 58/60. Was a CW Oper. in an M-59 PC. Volunteered for 6 years with the San Bernardino Mountain Foundation as a Fire Host Lookout at Black Mountain, above and North of he town of Idyllwild, now retired living in Hemet, Ca

    Tell us a little about your cav days.

    Initially I was assigned to an M-114, then as a gunner on an M551 and finally an M551 Track Commander.


    Tell us a little about you now.

    Retired from the US Forest Service as a Inter Regional Hotshot Crew Superintendent after 32 years service. Performed as a Fire Crew Captain for CalFire running a crew of 17 inmates for an additional 6 years and then retired. For the last 8 years I have served as a Fire Lookout on the Lava Beds National Monument and Modoc National Forest in NE California.
