  So you guys had one blow up on the border too? We (C Troop) had a Sheridan catch fire (fully combat loaded) and explode on July 25, 1974. Not much left of it. You can see the official photos on my page.

  I visited the site of the explosion July 2011 on the 37th anniversary. Found a gal nearby who was a little girl at the time of the explosion. Her parent's barn was hit by flying debris.
