dave when looking at your pics i see a hat with BORDER PATROL when i was there 82-84 our hats said BORDER in the front middle did this change or was that how you had them ?

Dave, I remember SFC Blevins, he was a good tanker, can't read a map to even safe his life, but a great person and took good care of his soldiers. I agreed you did very-very well in your career, be proud always. Here is my e-mail:

Tell us a little about your cav days.

Hahahah...my Cav days huh? Wildest bunch of combat killers who worked hard all day and partied just as hard every night. Lucky the Communists saw fit to quit before crossing over right fallas? Most of that duty assignment was a haze.!!! I am in a complete anachronism every time I visit this site. Although its been well over 30 year since my time on the rock...it sure feels like its just been a few years.

Tell us a little about you now.

Retired 1SG from the MP Corps. did a 21 years stretch. 14 years in Germany, Alaska, 17 rotations at NTC as a Brigade Combat Trainer, SGT Audie Murphy member. NCOIC of the USAREUR Color Guard...Loved it all!
