  Hey, sorry it took awhile to answer your friend request, not on here that much. I had early retirement in '85. Remember when I left in '80 I went to Advance NCO course for scouts at Ft Knox. 30 scounts learning how to be Plt Sgts on Tanks, it's a wonder we lived through it. I was the only SSG out of all of us that had been on a tank before(ofcourse that was the Sheridan we had there in the Sqdn's) I was injured on the tank range during main gun firing, my crew was climbing in the tank(M1) for our turn, as the guy that was being our gunner climbed in his seat, he pulled the trigger, yes, the previous crew had not cleared the tank and left a round in the chamber. I'm still on top the tank, for a moment, next i'm on the floor. Had back trouble ever since, but graduated. I retired with disability due to the new rules in '85, moved to Florida to be postman for another 15 years, retired again. Still here running recreational soccer programs to stay busy.   Dave, If you navigate to the bottom of the main page you'll find different groups you can join...ie. border, nurnburg etc....
