Tell us a little about your cav days.
Good times at Bindlach and Bayreuth. Lived off-post in Bayreuth, and got married after my first year in Germany (my wife, Cecelia, loved 1st Sqdn, living in Germany, and teaching at the OWC Pre-School). Lots of great experiences and service with great people.
Tell us a little about you now.
Served 21 years, retiring from active duty in 1996. Served with the 3d ACR (1980-1984), the Armor School (1984-1988), USASMA (1988-1989), 56 ADA Tng Bde (1989-1990), 3d ACR (1990-1992, deployed to Desert Shield/Storm), and the NDU (1993-1996). Worked for AB Technologies, Alion Science, CACI, and GDIT after retirement, then was a DA Civilian (2010-2020) serving as the Program Manager for the ARNG Distributed Learning Program. After retiring from the DA, my wife Linda and I moved from Fairfax, VA, to Knoxville, TN, where we lived until 2023. We now live in Travelers Rest, SC.
