As SGT E-5 I was assigned as the Tank Commander and went to Grafenwoehr to qualify twice.
Tell us a little about you now.
I joined in 1966 and did basic at Ft. Bliss, AIT at Ft. Knox and then assigned to HHC, 1/2 ACR. Achieved the rank of SGT. 1970 went to Hawk Missile School at Ft. Bliss and graduated with two new MOS's. Assigned to Key West FL. and then to Wurzburg, Germany. Achieved the rank of Platoon SGT (SFC) and was assigned to Ft. Lewis, WA where I was promoted to 1SG until I retired in 1986. I worked after the Army for the US Post Office, Thurston County Sheriff and Lacey, WA School District. Had my own Security Guard/Body Guard Company.
