We were in the field a lot, either in Graf or Hohenfels and did a lot of training at home station. Alerts in early morning were favorites for the commander.
Tell us a little about you now.
I am currently living in Bayern Germany and in the Czech Republic. Just visited Bayreuth a few weeks ago to take pictures of the old kaserne where 84th was stationed.

2d Cavalry has many good friends in the Czech Republic, members of the Military Car Club Pilsen. They have attended and supported several 2d Cav functions and the 2d Cav has sent representation to many of their functions over the past few years.
This is the president of the club, Ruda Bayer (right) and I at the Vilseck Fest last July welcoming the Regiment back from Afghanistan.
Eldridge - wondering where you are living in the Czech Republic.
