Fr. Tosi.  You were my XO when I PCS'd to Delta Co. 1/2 ACR in 1989.  SSG Reed was the Company MTR SGT.  We were all pretty young and highly motivated then.  Hope all is well with you and your family.  I have a son Zack who is 24 and a daughter Stephanie 22.  I'm still married to my lovely bride Trish.  We've been together for the last 27 years.  Drop me a line or two if you want.  Steve

I am doing well. Like you, I remember most of the time with the squadron quite fondly and am thankful for all of it because it is part of my life. I understand what you mean about you still being the same in some areas and different in others. When I retired from the army, I wanted to do something to help others in a more positive way. Not that the army did not help others, but I no longer wanted a job that was perceived as a threat. I finished my BA in General Studies while on active duty and then began pursuing a Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling. During this time, I started working with juvenile sex offenders in a residential treatment center ran by the state of Kentucky. I was working in an area that coincided with my desires. Unfortunately, the years in the military finally caught up with me and I got to the point where I could no longer do the things physically and intellectually that I needed to do for my job. On the positive side, I was then rated high enough by the VA to allow me to retire. Now, I can do volunteer work to help people. I am enjoying my life and the freedom of being retired.

      Eric,

I will try and get back with you this weekend with a SITREP from the Hovey Front. This is a great system to catch up with old friends. I will try and give you a bit more information on the book I am interested in writing for the regiment. I expect that it will take some time to complete the research.

      Eric,

I don't know if you remember me but I was the SBO for the squadron. I think you were in B TRP while serving at Camp Gates. We used to talk about the expliots of the SS during WW II. I hope things are going well for you.

I retired from the Army the fall of 03 and I'm currently working with kids in a JROTC program in Reno, NV. I love working with young people.

I just found this web site. I have been thinking about doing a book about the border mission. Just telling the stories of troopers and their officers serving along freedoms frontier.

      Look forward hearing from you.

Nice to see you. Please explain what an orthodox church is? Are you orth. Catholic? or Russian Orthodox? or Greek? - my husband, Earl Clark (Chief) remembers you. Take care - Herlinde Clark
