Whats up guy? Trying to get a hold of you. Butch
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Thanks for checking out my site. We have a unique business model in that we are 35 or so independent contractors partnered together to share the expenses of the lot and we own our own cars. That helps the customers by letting them talk to the owner instead of some salesman that is trying to make a living off commission waiting on them and then getting with a sales manager to get any information at all. Sincee we only have to feed ourselves and not a hundred employees it is cheaper for the buyer and we can make a good living providing a great service. I love it and the customers do too. I sell cars all over the United States and have sold them in Germany, Iceland, and Italy. I love it. When we were in Germany, I would have never envisioned selling cars for a living. I don't remember the "Grey Ghost", but I have rolled a Jeep or two and a couple of snowmobiles in Nevada and Utah!!! Mike Gibson just got back from the Berg and he visited Schwarzenfeld and went to the location where the apartment was. He took some pics too. If you get to Memphis, look me up would love to see you guys and meet your wife. I know she is a saint. Thanks for being a great friend to me in the Berg. I wouldn't have made it without you!
If I jacked up a Captain, I'm sure he had it coming!! I don't remember the incident, but it doesn't seem to far out of character for me. I heard that they tore that house down after we left. Too bad, I had some great times there. I don't remember the E-6's name , but I do remember several guys got killed including an entire crew at Graf when a Sheridan pulled off the firing line and fired point blank into the Sheridan next to it. It was pretty bad. Those are dangerous jobs but I had a lot of fun there. I'm still in Memphis, Tn. and I've been in the Car business since 1979. Call me at 901-240-8738 and we will catch up some time. I'd love to talk to you. I saw Jim Little in Vegas a couple of years ago. You never know when I might be in your lovely State! I like Tahoe too!
Well, I don't know about Hoenfelds. I spent a lot of time in tents waiting on tracks or parts. We shared a house off post that was behind the Gasthaus in Eglsee. We also spent some wild nights in Schwarzenfeld. I do love Thin Lizzie. I have some good old Bahnhof pictures of me you and Himi Hildner. Come on Old timer you can remember!!!!!
