remember Himi, Robert Hildner from Detroit City? He's doing fine and still living outside of Detroit in a suburb called Berkley. I gave him the 2nd ACR website info and he's definitely interested in coming to the reunion. His cell is 248-797-8438. He asked about you....said he lost contact with you years ago. I have his address also. Are you coming to the reunion this coming October? Im sure we knew each other at least vaguely lol.

Danny, Our tours overlapped.  I vaguely remember you from 2nd Plt. I roomed with Iaccabuci & Charlie Downs from 3rd Plt.   I was checking out your photos and started laughing when I saw you rappelling off of the bridge because I also learned to rappell from the same bridge with Mike Mann, Harbeck, and guys from 3rd Plt. I found the bridge on GoogleEarth.  "Fly" to  49°24'47.88"N  11°49'42.17"E.  Your pix take me way back!

Danny, I took time to look at your business site, seems to be a thriving Enterprise, what makes it so different? Man I tell you talking to all you guys has brought back some good memories. I recall one time that we were at the border and rolled a jeep,(no real damage) we had a couple huge Bavarian farm boys help us put it back on its feet. Recall that it was great sport to finish the patrol and then race back to camp. Do you remember the "Gray Ghost"? He was purported to be a high ranking officer that traveled the border doing spot checks on patrols. I never saw him and came to believe he was simply a legend. My wife and I watched Butch's video together and it was almost as if no time had passed. we both enjoyed it and the music was perfect. It is good to talk to you and as I recall you were always a straight forward people person. I am sure that it serves you well now. Close for now, Jerry

Ok Ok, I did not want to accuse you of something you had no part of but one time we were about to jack up some Captain who was harrasing us about the condition of our tank and you had had about all you could take, I may have lost one or two brain cells in that apartment so cut me some slack. What have you done with your life after the Army? Do you remember the name of the black E-6 who was killed when the gun came out of battery on one of the tanks and smashed against the top of the turret? I was telling my wife about the incident and could not recall his name. I have not been back to the apartment in some time but I left the key by the door so I'm sure it is clean.

      Danny,

Help me to refresh my memory, did we spend a week in a makeshift tent at Hohenfelds while trying to get our track fixed? Was your favorite song The Boys are Back by Thin Lizzy? Because if that's you I'm surprised you made it. Thanks for responding and welcoming me back.

      Danny:

I have not forgotten your kind invitation of a couple of years ago to meet for a beer and old war stories. Unfortunately, my wife was found to have a brain tumor, and although, so far, chemotherapy has been successful in reversing the worst immediate effects, paralysis and memory loss, she still requires pretty much my full time attention. Just wanted  to let you now that I appreciate hearing from you, and will call you if I ever get some free time.  Cheers, David
