Tell us a little about your cav days.
N Troop, 4/2 ACR was the best unit I served with in my 10 years of active duty. It wasn't all fun, but we had a great unit. After my first year there, I flew back to the US, married my wife, and she came over to live with me the final two years. It was indeed like a two year honeymoon (between the alerts and field). She was broken in early though...her first night in Germany, we were called out on alert at 3:00 AM...I tossed her a fist full of DMs, pointed in the direction of the market and drink store, kissed her, and headed out the door.
Tell us a little about you now.
I departed the Army in 1993 at 10 years, and never looked back. Sine that time, I have become a self-taught computer programmer, and now make a living writing C#, Visual Basic, and SQL Server code for the largest provider software company in the Elder Care market.
Name a few buddies you served with that you would like to find.
Tim Porter, Mike Chickilly, William Coleman, Alan Holcomb, Larry Owens, Melvin Moore, Buford Thomas, and quite a few others I'm too tired to think of right now. ;-)
