Tell us a little about your cav days.
Arrived in 1982, Went to K Troop Under 1SG Bertie Ray, lasted a total time of 2 weeks. They found out I had staff experience, and ended up in S2, then the SOC and placed in the Vault under LTC David O Bird (Swoop).

Retired in 1998 in G-2 NTC, Became a JROTC instructor in Phoenix Union HS District. Going on 17 years... Fun Fun Fun!

Joe Hernandez SSG One each COMSEC Custodian. How have you been. I am not sure if you remember me but I sure remember you, you were the beginning of my COMSEC time in the Army. I served in the COMSEC Vault with you in about 83 or 84. Let me know if you remember me drop a line if want.
Sergeant Hernandez! From your photo, it's clear that time's been kind to you. It's great to get your note and find out your adventures after Amberg.
There's some great stuff on this site. A bunch of us had a long thread a couple of years back about the Cobra that the Czechs fired at on Good Friday, 1984. And some other comical stuff.
I'm still in touch with Mike Hanley of L Troop fame, he is here in Atlanta. And I talk sporadically with Rob Lytle, who's on the BG list to be the ARNG adjutant general in Idaho of all places.
