Jacob, I too was at Ft. Meade and stationed in Bamberg 58/60 went over on the USS Rose, came home on the USS Buckner. Had a good friend in 3rd Bn at Amberg, a fella named Joe Dixon !

Welcome.....join us over here in the Oldtimers. I was there 2 years after you, and there are some here you might know or remember. Been to New Orleans many times,love it there, but things seemed to have changed after Katrina. Seems like alot of imports. The native population has been cast elsewhere.
