Welcome home Troop.
The Dragoonbase.com, has
plenty of updated features
(similar to MySpace), lots of sub-groups,
(Officers Club,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc),
and links for “2nd Cavalry Assn.”
News and History Centers.

Robb Russell has posted some tips for
navigating the site(ie,photos,links,ect)
in the Forum.

Please feel free to stop by and read the

you can learn some 2nd Cav history,
and you could even, win a kool prize.

Tell us a little about your cav days.

Worked out at the airfield by the ammo dump. Remember many of my old buddies.....CW2's Geoff Doane, Ken Ruckie and W1 Mark Brewer........would like to get with them again. Other crew chiefs were John DeLaGarza and Dennis Lonsway.

Tell us a little about you now.

Working in the IT field. Got out of the Army in 78 and went to work for the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller. Went on strike in 81 and got into computers. Moved back home to Columbus, Ga, got married and been living in Phenix City, Al (just across the river from Columbus) since.

Name a few buddies you served with that you would like to find.
