Good morning, YES, I remember CPT Long.  He was Airfield Commander before he went to M CO.  I was a crew chief on one of the Hueys (tail # 64-13777) out at the airfield from January 1972 thru March 1975.  I was in HHT.

      Hello Larry,
I guess my memory has gone AWOL. I don't remember much of anything about that period.
Be good and lift up those around you.

Larry.... Was wondering if you knew  a Larry King, I think he went to M CO in 1971 . Larry King was a very tall black guy, we did basic training together any info would be helpful. As for SSG McKnight, he was a short skinny black guy, was in I Trp  was the TC for the mortar squad

Capt. Crittsinger sounds familiar. Was he a pilot too?

Hello Larry, yes we are about 30 miles apart. I spent two tours in Amberg 59-61 and 62-64. I retired in 1/1/69. I have lived here since I retired. We have another member living here in Fort Worth Ken Morren. Your name rings a bell, from where I don't know.

Hey Michael, good to hear from you. I remember your face but don't remember you. It's funny but I can't remember a lot of names anymore. The faces are all still there but a lot of the names are not so clear. I was the M-Co Armorer and Supply clerk most of my time in Amberg. What did you do in K-Troop? I got in touch with one other guy from Amberg a couple of years ago, named Mark Holler. He was in M-Co and transferred to L-Troop after I left in 1974. Did you ever know him? Stay in touch.
