Tell us a little about your cav days.
Got there when I was 17 in Jan 76 short timers said they didn't believe people lived that long when I told them I would rotate back to the states in 1979 Lol Article 15 first month I was there did not make it to guard duty. Back than each unit has all the guard duty for a month. Fired dragon missiles at Graf. Was 11B than re-classed to 11D. Driver, loader, and Gunner of the M551 Sheridan. Worked in the gym as special duty for awhile. Loved the camaraderie hated the surprise "Alerts" at 3 am and roll outs. Lots of partying. Didn'nt know it than but it than but it was some of the best years of my life.

Retired in 1995 yeah II turned out to be a"lifer" lol. Remember it was "FTA" when I was there, ha ha. Work in Information Technology in Tampa Florida.

Good deal my step daughter spent 6 years there (career student) but has since graduated and is now married with a 4 year old and a great son-in-law living in Fort Worth.
I do have pictures but I will have to dig them out a couple of the ones that you put up like of Babela and Sgt Richburg I have but I will look and see.
Whenever you get ready to come down let me know. I will see if I can get Brian Richardson aka. Cheeks to come down also

I was over in C Troop while you were there. Great to have you on the Base.
The crumbly green, brown, red, black and blonde didn't help much either.
Yeah, I visited the Rock in 2008 and 2011. Hardly recognized the place with all the housing up there now. A few of the original buildings were still there from my time (74-75), but not many.
