Tell us a little about your cav days.
Started out working for SP5 Pat Picciano in the orderly room. He was replaced by Frank Zack. Troop commanders: CPT Willard Hatch, CPT Myron Artist, CPT Larry Taylor. Regimental commanders: COL Baldwin and COL Allen. Regimental CSM Joseph Foglio. Was there when Russia invaded Czechoslavkia. Graf in December was the pits. Loved Nurnberg. Hated to leave when got order for Vietnam.
Tell us a little about you now.
Still working in the construction industry but am starting to see retirement on the horizon. Married, 4 children, two grandchildren. Been back to Nurnberg several times. Still a wonderfu place that stirs many fond memories for me.

hello Jim, I was stationed at the Rock during your time period, do you recall a Jimmy Cockran, I took basic traniining at fort knox with him, anyhow he was stationed at merrell Barracks also, good talking to you, you'll enjoy looking through the site, these guy's have done a GREAT job putting everything togather, take care, Mike Roberts
