John I see a bunch of guys commenting on here, and I think I remember you too.  You made one hell of an impression back in the old days.  If you graduated from the Citadel, then you're the guy I remember.  Did you ever get that Porsche you worked so hard to save up for?

Hi Sir! Dang it is good to hear from you after all the years! I think the last time we actually saw each other was in the Bamberg Shoppette about 9 years ago! As you saw in my writing to Jeff B., I kept up with a few of the folks who in one way or another had an impact on my career. I am currently working in Alexandria, VA at the Family & MWR Command, a part of IMCOM, but am scheduled to move to San Antonio, TX in 2011. I am scheduled to come TDY to Stuttgart (Kelley Barracks) at the end of April, maybe we can met up and have that cold one!

      John,

Great to hear from you as well. That was an interesting day for sure as were many others! Hope all is well. What are you doing with SOCEUR? I have a friend who is in GE. He is retired Navy special operator. He has spent the last 6 years embedded with Army units helping out.

I have been in Va since getting out in 1989; seems like a million years ago! Running a Defense/IC firm here in Virginia. Somebody screwed up and put me in charge. Have a few retired Army special operators on the team here. We are involved in some really great and technically challenging work with our customers. As you say Life is Good.

      Keep in touch.

      Jeff

      (Officers Club,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc),
and links for “2nd Cavalry Assn.”
      News and History Centers.

Robb Russell has posted some tips for
      navigating the site(ie,photos,links,ect)
      in the Forum.

Please feel free to stop by and read the
      latest “Tacoma Dave's ‘Triva Quiz’”,
you can learn some 2nd Cav history,
and you could even, win a kool prize.

If you need any help, you may contact
Robb Russell, or any of the 5 admins listed
at the top of the page, or just yell out,

      ‘Keep it clean’.
Use your real name and picture,
(pix from back in the day, work best
      for searching for Brothers),
      but any picture will do.

And that you please tell all your friends
about, where to find the DragoonBase.
