We would all like to hear about it, as I have no experience/knowledge with CW, and likely few of our members do.

John: Thank you for acknowledging my request for input from CW operators. As our interchange may take up some space, may I ask you to use my EMail address (otsrbwadley@arn.net) if you decide to help me. Briefly, I was removed fro CW school in order to Gyroscope with my unit. In Germany they found other MOSs for me to perform. I have kept up with my Morse code all these years, but I have a real desire to know what I missed out on. If you can tell me something about the equipment you used, and some anecdotes regarding your daily life as a CW operator, I would greatly appreciate it. Robert

I also took basic at Ft.Meade and gyro'd over on the Gen. Rose, was in Bamberg with the 2nd Battalion and came home on the Buckner and remember staying up all night to see the Statue of liberty, that grand lady in the harbor and returning home to N.J. It was a great time.
