The Dragoonbase.com, has
plenty of updated features
(similar to MySpace), lots of sub-groups,
(Officers Club,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc),
and links for “2nd Cavalry Assn.”
News and History Centers.

Robb Russell has posted some tips for
navigating the site(ie,photos,links,ect)
in the Forum.

Tell us a little about your cav days.

I had always wanted to be in the 2nd ACR but the assignment came at the worst possible time as I was about to get married. But in spite of the stigma that accompanies a border cav assignment, it was still one of my better tours. It was great to be in a border unit while the wall was up and while it came down. It was also a great unit to deploy to war with. They really had their act together.

Tell us a little about you now.

I was forced out of the army in 98 due to back problems and am now retired on disability.

Name a few buddies you served with that you would like to find.

I have already found most on Facebook, but we're stll loking for a few more. I would love to find my crew from th Gulf war, Tony Sears, Robert Scott, and our gunner-on-loan from III Corps Phillip McNellis.
