Tell us a little about your cav days.

At the time, I thought it was a hellacious 1st permanent party base... lots of alert roll outs to the LTA, lots of Graf and Vilseck, and border rotations, just in the first 8 months in L Troop... spent a few months in the S2 when I moved to HHT before spending the last 8 months in Squadron Commo. 5 of my oldest friends are all from 3/2 and time proved it was a great duty assignment once I appreciated it!

PCS'd to 10th Mountain then ETS'd in 1988... reenlisted in 1996 and made a career of it, retiring in 2015 as a 1SG. Currently working at the VA hospital here in New Orleans.
