Glad you made it over.  Pour yourself a cold one, and feel free to join in, and in case you didn't notice, it doesn't always have to make sense.

Hi,Joe, yeh I was on the same boat the Rose, do you remember the foul weather we hit in the English channel. I lucked out I had a LT. that flew over with his pregnant wife and I got to take care of his 2 dogs that went iver on the Rose so I was allowed on decks that were off limits to most of the soldiers. Left Bamberg in March 60 and returned statside on the USS Buckner, a much better trip except I got duty in the bakery and couldn't stand the smell when they baked rye bread. 2 day out of NY harbor a sub popped up and scared crap out of us but it turned out to be one of ours. Many memories of good times in Bamber. Coburg and Graf.

Hey Joe , saw your profile. I took my basic in Ft Meade and gyrod over with the cav feb58 and was in Bamberg with How. Co. 58/60 so we probably crossed paths somewhere, spent time in Graf and Coburg also.
Have a booklet called "The border our Mission" lots of pictures of our tour over there.

      Toujours Pret Joseph,
Welcome to the new DragoonBase, the site has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F Trp,Amberg,CampHof,etc.) and links for History. Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site(ie,photos, ect) in the Forum. And his only wish that ‘We keep it clean’, and you tell all your friends about the new DragoonBase.

      Thanks Again for joining,
      Jesse Kelley
