      Kipp,

For a picture of me back in the Amberg days go to the pictures on my page (4) and look for the one marked LT. Mike?.  I cannot remember this Lt.'s name - hope you you can help.  I believe I may have driven for you.  Although, I remember being assigned driver for the supply officer when I first got there.  After a time it seemed like I drove for a variety of Officers - Lt. McCray being one of them.  Do you remember him?  I believe he was the only African/American Officer at Pond Barracks back then.

Did I ever drive for you??

Do you remember a Lt. George Picard.  Hometown friend who lived close to me in Manville, RI.  Didn't know we were stationed together until our kids became friend in elementary school.  I think he lived with his mother while in Amberg!

      Hey, Kipp,
Mike Waldron, also in How Battery, said he believes Wayne is in the Indianapolis area now. I think he looked for him under Earl Wayne Renner. As you may recall, Wayne's real first name was Earl.

I knew that you and Uschi dated but was not aware that the two of you married. You must be married about the same number of years that Pat and I are. We married in '72 and stayed in Amberg another two years afterwards. She worked at the Service Club with Christina Cwiek.

Do you still fly helicopters? Was CW2 Rucki there before you left Amberg for Nurnberg?

Have a nice Memorial Day -- you earned it!
