Hey there Kurt. I was in G troop 73-74. My track was G23, Billy Russell's track he took over. My room was the attic, top of the stairs. Where did they house you radar guys, I don't remember you, but then it was 40 + years ago.

Kurt, I remember you and having a conversation with you. I see Julie Nygren once in a while--just yesterday. If I remember correctly you lived in Forest Lake?? I just returned from Germany a few weeks ago and spent a few days in Bamberg. The base is closed and it was kind of depressing. I was in H company for my two years I was there (72-74).

Do you remember Richard Budge. We were both sergeants together in Coburg. I taught school for 31 years, 18 of that in Taylors Falls. Life has been good. I live in Taylors Falls, just down from the school. Box 107 Taylors Falls, MN 55084 mchmoberg@frontiernet.net.

November 1972 to about May 1975

Tell us a little about your cav days.

Spent time in Bamberg as well as at the border area of Hof, where I sometimes operated the radar set at the "OP" on the border. Very formative time of life for me, as, I am sure it was for so many at that age. Learned to love Germany.

Tell us a little about you now.

I am retired from UPS after 35 years. I enjoy kids and grandkids.
