  Mike--my name is Kurt Nygren.  I was in G troop 1972-1975.  We probably talked when I was stationed there--your name rings a bell.  I was born in St. Croix Falls and lived in Taylors Falls.  My uncle Willard was once mayor of TF and owned Nygren's Garage.

  Mike much to talk about. School didn't work out so I went back in in '76 so I went back in as an E5. Went to 3d ACR at Bliss and commanded a Sheridan section there. Then 11th ACR in Fulda, Fort Riley and retired as a 1SG in Friedberg Germany. Went to Desert Storm in a 3d Armored Div Tank battalion and dropped my retirement papers day after Clinton was elected. I retired in Germany and went to work as a defense contractor doing simulations. Still doing that in Suffolk VA. Second wife died last April and I'm going to see her gravesite after the 2 ACR homecoming. Please keep in touch. I thought about you, Lawson, Banbury and Golden much the past forty years.

  Am flying to Germany Monday to attend the festivities at Vilseck and then going to Hanau for a week to visit my wife's grave and family.
