Tell us a little about your cav days.

I'd never heard of the 2nd ACR, nor was familiar with the shoulder patch when I arrived at Ft. Polk. I got to serve with some great people. We helped augment JRTC rotations, hitched a ride on C130 to Ft. Chaffee for a month long training exercise. Spent 5 months in Haiti supporting the UNMIH mission. Took another trip to Ft. Chaffee. When I was ready to ETS was sent to the Mortar Platoon to help them out.

I'm a Registered Nurse, with family. I'm in good health and I am proud to have been a part of the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment
