I am retired USAR (1999). Vicky and I have been married 40 years (this coming August 9th). We had the opportunity to return to Amberg to live and work in 2006. I teach at Netzaberg Middle School (Graf)and my wife is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for Behavioral Health at Rose Barracks (Vilseck). Our daughter, Kelly, was born at Nurnberg US Army Hospital. She is a doctor of chiropractic, is married to a German (long story) and has a successful practice in Bad Durkheim, Germany. Our son, Brandon, born at Ft Knox is also a doctor of chiropractic and works and lives in Carmi, Illinois. We have four grandchildren, Eric 11, Mallory 5, Carson 3 1/2 and Silas 17 months. We currently live about 10 minutes drive from "Pond Barracks". Once in a while I can hear weapons fire from the range in Gailoh.
