What unit(s) did you serve in with the 2d Cavalry?

I served with RSS, Maintenance Troop.

Where were you stationed?

Nueremberg, Merrell Barracks.

What MOS or job description did you have?

52C - Utilities Equipment Repair. Engineer Squad Leader, Ground Support Plattoon and Orderly Room NCOIC. Also held MOS of 36K (tactical communications) and 19D (Cavalry Scout).

What was your rank/title?

E-5 (P)

What years were you assigned to the 2nd Cavalry?

1989 through 1992.

Tell us a little about your cav days.

Served in Desert Storm, afterwhich, upon return to Merrell Barracks was made Ordely Room NCOIC of Maintenance Troop. Was one of the final remaining troopers at Merrell during the "drawdown" and closure. Honorably discharged upon leaving 2nd ACR.

Tell us a little about you now.

I suffered from Gulf War Syndrome for quite awhile, and faced health challenges immediately after my discharge. Over time the symptoms have dissipated. Have been employed with the federal government since 1994, and have a successful career.

Name a few buddies you served with that you would like to find.

Any and all troopers who remember me or would like to reminisce of their time serving during the timeframe of 1989 through 1992.
