  Mike i stay in contact regular with Cecil Raleigh, me and him deer hunt ft knox together every year since 2000,  he lives right over in e-town.  I live in Lebanon Junction, and work at USAREC if you want to reach raleigh let me know i have his number.

  Do you remember Bob Pearl? He was in L troop and had some disagreements with that little guy who was the 1SG down there and he came up to work for me SQDN maint. The CSM at that time was Dallas.

  The S3 SGM at that time was a guy named Beam. When Salas became the CSM, Beam was promoted about the same time from K troop, where he was the 1SG. Naturally, everyone called him Jim Beam which he did imbibe in frequently.

  Hi Michael, welcome aboard. I served in the 3/2 from '68-69 and worked in the Head Shed. Check out the groups and see who you can find. I am in " Old timers " and " Amberg, 3rd Sqdn. " , where else ? I see that you were in L Trp. in 87 & 89. You must know TOMMY NESTER, Command Sgt. Maj. of the 3rd. Sqdn. from 88 -92.. You will find him in " Amberg, 3rd. Sqdn.   Toujours Pret Michael,
  Welcome to the new DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
  Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (ie,photos,links,ect) in the Forum.
  Make sure you stop by and read the latest Tacoma Dave ‘Triva Quiz’, learn some 2nd Cav history and you can even win a kool prize.
  If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or any of the 5 admins listed at the top of the page, or just yell out, another member may be able to help you.
  And our only wish, ‘Keep it clean’, use our Real names/with Pictures(pix from back in the day, work best for searching for Brothers, but any picture will do).
  And that you please tell all your friends about the new DragoonBase.
