Wow, I'm really sorry to hear about Capt. Davidson's accident. You say he recovered; was he able to return to duty, or did he retire after that?

He gave me two Article-15's while I was there, and I richly deserved both of them. He also tried to promote me to E-5 twice.

I liked and respected him, always found him to be a decent guy. If he returned to duty after his recovery would you happen to know what rank he finally retired with?

Oh yeah, I remember Tello, and I drove for Lt. Taylor after I was transferred from the gun section to FO's. Spent a lot of time driving around with Sgt. Herring doing the FO thing, especially when we lived at Vilseck for several months and our FO section got assigned to observe fire for a whole bunch of units that came through Graf during that period to do their live firing. If I recall correctly we were at Vilseck for about 5 or 6 months while they remodeled our billets. I ETS'ed out of Vilseck, so never did get to enjoy the new digs.

Hey, Mike, good to hear from you! Those names bring back some memories. I've got some photos of George Pintar and Sgt. Henry (ol' Dash-10) and I certainly remember Garnica and Sanders. I've often wondered what happened to those guys, including Mike Mosby who got three of his fingers cut off handing a commo reel through a side hatch on one of the guns. It was during REFORGER 75, if I recall correctly. I also remember Capt. Davidson, Lt.'s Brehm and Taylor. Also remember Tom Harrison.
Weren't you also in A Battery, 1/84 FA, up at Ft. Lewis before going to Germany? I seem to recall knowing you there also.
