I APOLOGIZE MY BROTHER FOR NOT MONITORING THE NET. CPT TWINKIE (LYNCH), PUT ME ON A BORDER TRACE. THE TRUTH IS MY WIFE AND I HAVE BEEN IN & OUT OF THE HOSPITAL UNTIL THIS WEEK. I WILL ATTEMPT TO REACH YOU ON THE PHONE, BUT THIS IS A REAL DIFFICULT PERIOD. THIS DISEASE (SARCOIDOSIS) IS A SLOW DEVASTATING PROBLEM. I AM CONFIDENT, PETE, THAT I CONTRACTED IT JUST PRIOR TO LEAVING BINDLACH IN 1989. I BELIEVE OUR SOLDIER'S IN THE PLATOON/TROOP HAVE A KINDRED SPIRIT. I AM HOPING & PRAYING THE LORD WILL PROVIDE THE STRENGTH I NEED TO MAKE THE REUNION. THE ONLY WAY I WILL NOT GO, IS IF I AM "TITS-UP". YOU, VINSON, FORBEGER, DINO, LEAFBLAD, CORNELIUS & A FEW OTHERS ARE LIKE BROTHERS TO ME. PETE, PASS ON OUR LOVE & GREETINGS TO TRUDY/TRUDI. I WILL CALL YOU, AND YOU CAN CALL IF YOU HAVE TIME. ALWAY'S READY MY BROTHER, & ALWAY'S FIRST. LAY
