I spent a total of 16 years in Europe. I first went to Italy in 1980 thru 1982. I went back to Calif for 14 months. I went back to Italy in 1983 and did not leave until December 1994. Once I got out of Combat Arms and went into Logistics my whole Army experience changed. I went to the First Gulf on a TDY alone to Turkey on an Air Force Base. After that I worked on a Depot in Pisa Ital until I retired. And now I am a contracting office GS-14 with Dept of State. I will retire in 2 to 3 years. I have traveled with DoS across the US, Europe and Africa. Damn who would have known all this started with I Troop and the 2nd ACR.

I hope you can come to the reuion this year in VA. I went two years ago and I was the only trooper from I Troop. I retired from the Army in 1994 and I work at the Department of State. Right now I live in Gaithersburg, MD. Going to work 4 more years then I am done. I spoke to Bullard a few years back he lives in England, WTF ? I too am on Face Book. I am always looking for Troopers from I Troop. It was a great time in my young life. Glad I got to serve with a Kool bunch of guys. Take care and don't be no stranger .
Ritchie, welcome to our site. I don't think you remember me. My name is Bernard Turner I was in 3rd PTL SSG Bull's track. My running partner was Steve Carpenter from CA. I got to the Berg in 1974. I got to know you when you came back from Marrco. You were tight with Black Rob from Chicago. We had some great times at Camp May and Camp Rotz. Good to see a Bro from back in the day. Do you Remember 1SG Tadlock and Capt Smoke Crumly? I Troop was the best.
