Don't know if you remember me. 1/2 ACR Sqdn Commo Chief (Bindlach).
Worked as Temp Sigo after Eric "Muddy" Waters almost died in car accident.
Had the opportunity to work with LTC Bob "Darth" Young, BG Tilelli, CPT Spearman, MAJ Hamilton, MAJ Lute and MAJ Mike "Mighty Mike" Trahan.
Wishing you many more!!!
From all of us at DragoonBase.
Glad to here you will be making the reunion at Ft Knox. Should be quite the gathering.
And yes, the Honorary Squadron of 2d Dragoon's is still alive and well. The active Regiment has the current book, while the old books that have been filled reside in the Reed Museum. There is a group here for inductees. There is also an officer's club that I urge you to join. You will be getting an invitation from me, as I am the club 'bartender', at your service, sir.
I'm also the unofficial historian for the Regiment, and official editor on the Association's history and news websites. I sense you have a keen interest in 2d Cavalry history.

Welcome Sir, to the new DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (ie,photos, links, ect) in the Forum.
Make sure you stop by and read the latest Tacoma Dave ‘Triva Quiz’, learn some 2nd Cav history and you can even win a kool prize.
If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or any of the 5 admins listed at the top of the page, or just yell out, another member may be able to help you.
And our only wish, ‘Keep it clean’, use our Real names/with Pictures(pix from back in the day, work best for searching for Brothers, but any picture will do).
And that you please tell all your friends about the new DragoonBase.
Thanks again for joining Dragoon Base, and for your service to our great country,
Jesse Kelley
Quite the list of alumni you have there. At least three of them were at the last reunion, Col. (R) Eberle, Col. (R) Molino, and Gen. (R) Tilelli. They were part of the biggest gathering of Regimental Colonels ever.
Tom Molino was my troop commander in 1974, taking over C Troop from Pete Schoomaker that year. Tom just stepped down after numerous years as the 2nd Cavalry Association President. He's a member here but rarely if ever stops by. I saw him in Vilseck last November when the Regiment got back from Iraq and a bunch of us from the Association went over to welcome them home. I have his contact info if you ever need it.
Toujours Pret, sir!
