- Commanded I-Troop during the time of Cold War ending and fall of Berlin Wall - Served under five (5) Regimental Commanders (61st to 65th) while in the Regiment - Patrolled (or visited) essentially every accessible point along border in Camp May and Camp Reed sectors - Later served as S-3 and XO of 1-7 Cav "Garry Owen" in Ft Hood (1996-1998)
