Tell us a little about your cav days.
I augmented H Co on my first border tour in Dec 83 and fell in love with mission. I volunteered every time someone was needed on the border. Mostly I drove and became extremely familiar with our sectors soon the duty officers were requesting me to drive because the didn’t have to tell me where to go. It came my passion and got a job in the SOC then became the NCOIC as an E4 soon promoted to E5. I got to go train augmenting units and continued in operations until I received orders to leave. Even though I tried extending the Army said I had to go. I left 1 month before the wall came down and missed serving with many of my friends in Desert Storm.
Tell us a little about you now.
I have worked in underground utility construction since I got out of the Army. I am an outside salesman for a precast company that provides concrete structures and pipe for utilities
