Tell us a little about your cav days.
Too much time in the field but did manage to travel around Germany via train a bit.Spent many nights in the Green Goose partying with friends.Had friends in Hohenfels,Pinder ( Zirndorf) and Fuerth.Also visited friends in Wurzburg,Amberg and Schweinfurt.I still maintain contact with some of my Army and civilian friends.
Tell us a little about you now.
Living in Albany New York region call the Capital District or Capital Region.After the Army I travelled quite a bit around the country and then decided to settle down ( for now) in my home state of New York.I was born in Rochester,NY area. I have 2 dogs,drive a Pontiac Vibe ( 2005) and work outside sales for a Motorola radio company in Albany.Every year we donate items for the Adopt A Soldier program to send care packages and supplies to our troops overseas.I know I would have appreciated the items while in the desert.

I am Full-time Guard in Latham. Are you related to CW2 Ken Redick? He works at the Arsenal.
The name doesnt ring a bell but it has been nearly 20 years. I was with A trp 1/2 acr in Bindlach. Best of luck finding your old buddies.

Welcome to the new DragoonBase, the site has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site(ie,photos,ect) in the Forum.
If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or myself, or just yell out another member may be able to help.
And his only wish that ‘We keep it clean’, use our real names/with pictures, and you tell all your friends about the new DragoonBase.
