I was a Track Commander, Training NCO, Carry-All Driver through out Southern Germany, Bavaria. Fulda Gap, Grafenwoehr, etc, Border Camps reed and May along the Trace (Grenze) West Germany and Czechoslovakia.

Wow brother we were there at the same time SSG Fritz great times on the grenze and Graf with him. I was a Tanker worked for Z and SSG Woods. Hope all is well
if you get the chance and I'm sure you will check out the sub-group within the base..great conversation to be heard and followed..particular chek out Harry Warners group the Oldtimers..lots of daily repore to be seen here and on occasion theres a get together at the "Saloon"!!! on some occasions the "juke-box gets to roaring with some awesome tunes.. take care ..super to see you on dragoonbase..

Mark!!! good t o also have the connection here on dragoonbase.. this is the first place I found on the internet moons back when my niece insisted I get on the internet,because all my great,nieces nephews are on and I love family so it was great,then I got brave and found this group....lots of memories have flooded back through the cobwebs of my youth!! the comradery and the connection to the 2d Cav days are fantastic.lots of great troopers here.. still haven't made many connections with guys I served day to day with at Squadron Maintenance,but have gotten to know many others from that time frame and feel a close connection as well as those there before and the youth that are now serving... the 2d Cav is trully a family.. "Toujours Pret" Always Ready..
