We were up in VA at the museum in Danville, Va and I hooked up with George Vesel from NJ. I don't think you met him, he left in 77. I haven't seen him in 32 years...he still has not changed. We wore our berets at the museum. Yes, I still have mine. We enlightened the folks at the Sheridan display with our exploits and travails while we were crew members on that fine vehicle. We had them rolling with laughter at the thought of trading C-Rats for good German food while in the field. We pointed out the fact that while we were on serious duty we still managed to have a blast. They ate it up. We were invited back in 2010 at their "Get to meet the troops who served on the vehicles" weekend. Sure would be good if we could hook up there.

When I think back I remember the time I called you by your first name in the motor pool. You were reprimanded by someone higher up that E-4's do not refer to Sergents on a first name basis. You had to set me straight on that. Boy oh boy if those M551's could talk, what stories they could tell.
Good talking to you last night. Brought back lots of good memories. You have one helluva website. Those are some monster houses your company has built. Wish you were down here in 1994 when our house got washed away by the flood so you could rebuild it for us.
