      You speak german?

I have often wondered how much better of an experience that I may have had if I knew the language? But I understand (?) German is difficult to learn, and I am not facile in learning languages, just barely know english. Took 4 yrs Spanish in jr hi and hi skool, but still could not get to the "conversant" level, cause couldn't "think" in Spanish, and always had to try to translate back and forth - too difficult a process for conversation as you can imagine.

Sir I have had a "friend request" for a while now, I will leave it active and not "withdraw" as I believe you probably have not seen it. I would  be honored if you accept. Thanks.

      Bill,
Good morning and Happy Birthday. Looking at your picture from 1960, I am almost certain that our paths crossed, either in Amberg or Gates. Weren't too many around with dimples like that. Hope you have a great day.

      William Penn Brown,

The VA did some procedure, I will get the name of it soon and let you know, but alot of relief, not the hell

that I was going thru but at least the pain medicine is moderately effective now when I  get great pain.

I may be asking you about the implant thing for sure.

Thanks for  being with me an being my friend when I was so, so. so very sick. Brother.

William Penn Brown Come on over and spend some time in oldtimers, I am there almost daily.

      William Penn Brown,

I had a procedure at the VA on Dec 4th - Good Pain Reduction, then the other day I tried to move a box and it gave me a sharp pain like a spasm. They are very bothersome, but my overall pain is relieved to a large extent. I hope whatever I "did" heals up.

thanks for your interest man. I was in horrendous pain for 8 months, the pain and pain meds took over my life; probably the worst pain I have ever experienced

Thank You for your interest, and I am sorry it took me so long to find your message..

      Bill,
Glad to see you made over to the Oldtimers. It tends to get deep over here, so keep your waders handy.
