Sorry about the picture I don't know what went wrong anyways that is Leo and I think that she may have belonged to this guy before Leo but I can't remember his name.

Why yes, GIGI lived in my room for awhile. The guy that had her then was Leo Kalawitz from NJ . WE also had a cat for awhile called Man but some butt hole from another company killed it at Camp Pittman.Great to hear some of us are still around.

      Donald,
If you watch the movie 'Courage Under Fire', Denzel plays LTC Sterling of the 2nd ACR, and they show our patch many, many times.

No, I left in 72 and I don't remember ever seeing any of the troopers wearing a beret. I got there in July of 71 and left in March. I was there only 9 months but enough time to do the end of Graf, then the Rock. From there to Wieden for Border duty. One tour at Hamburg I believe to do guard duty on the nukes they said they had there. Then one tour at Hoenfels.. very cold and muddy. We kept warm with the engine exhausts.. remember? What dummies, lucky we didn't kill ourselves.

Of the names you posted, I remember Sgt Jackson very well. If I remember correctly, he suffered a breakdown out on border duty. Do you remember? Do you remember a driver by the name of Wolfe who died in a jeep accident. He was driving our leutenant and he bumbed a truck and they turned over. The Lt broke an arm but Wolfe died. Tom Hanson, did he work as clerk or something like that? My memory of names is not good, but I remember a Hanson defending me once when the Lt was interrogating me for some mess up I did.
Anyway, were you able to name others in the photos I posted? Would very much like to hear from you and maybe together we can put together the puzzle.

Thats right Don. That picture was on the old website. William Garrett who just join us about 3 weeks ago posted that picture. I brought a lot of joy to me cause I knew two of those in the picture pretty well, Daniel Counter and George Williamson, the two guys in the back.
Do you have any pictures? If you do please post them. Do you remember any names?
